Networking and learning opportunities for all who work toward effective records and information management.
The May Austin ARMA meeting will be held May 15, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This HYBRID meeting is free for chapter members and only $5 for guests.
Topic: Best Friends: Records Management and Archives
Records Management and Archives are often viewed as two separate professions with separate standards and requirements. However, they are more accurately two sides of the same coin. Information professionals can learn from each other and can benefit from collaboration. This presentation will explore the similarities of RIM and Archives, while also discussing how their differences are mutually beneficial.
