IG Program Progress: Crafting "Why" First Communications

Last year, information-related initiatives were pushed to the top of organizations' priority lists to enable and facilitate digital collaboration. As we move past the pandemic, IG professionals are tasked with effectively communicating the value of their programs for ongoing executive support.

To help elevate organizational influence and propel IG programs forward, the "why" needs to be clear -- why is your IG program essential to business success? In this presentation, Todd Brown (Managing Director for Access Sciences Corporation) will provide best practices for crafting compelling "why" first communications to gain (or retain) executive-level support.

Key Takeaways include:

  • A high-level understanding of a business case (why) and how to communicate it
  • Compelling communications tactics
  • How to gain support from executives when it comes to budgeting and resources
Pre-approved for 1.0 IGP CEU
