Session Description

Join us for an engaging panel discussion about defensible disposition moderated by Susan Cisco. Come hear from industry professionals from the legal, private, and state sectors.

Moderator: Susan Cisco

Susan Cisco, Ph.D., CRM, FAI, has more than 30 years' experience in the RIM/IG profession as a practitioner, writer, researcher, educator, and consultant. Her seminal work in developing the Big Bucket approach to the classification and retention of information has simplified ECM deployment strategies and optimized user adoption for organizations around the world. She holds an MLS degree and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a CRM and is ARMA Fellow #27.



Panelist: Wendy McLain

Wendy McLain, MLIS, CRM develops and improves RIM/IG programs within the government, healthcare, engineering, and energy sectors. She enjoys lively discussions with colleagues and mentoring the next wave of industry professionals. Board service includes: ICRM 2012-18, ARMA Board of Directors 2019 to present, currently in the role of President-elect.



Panelist: Erica Rice

Erica Rice is a Senior Government Information Analyst at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission in Austin, TX, where she consults with state and local governments on records management laws and rules. Erica holds an MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University, and a BA in Anthropology and Medieval Studies from Rutgers University. She is also a Certified Archivist (CA), Certified Records Manager (CRM), and Information Governance Professional (IGP).


Panelist: Laura Tenberg

Laura is an information manager who is passionate about supporting people in finding and accessing information resources. Skilled in records management, cataloging, and digitization, she is a strong research and service oriented professional with experience in libraries and law firms. She has a Master of Science degree in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Records Analyst through ICRM. Currently, Laura is serving as the Membership Co-Chair for the Austin chapter of ARMA International.
