Join the Austin ARMA Chapter in April for a riveting informal discussion with four of our ARMA International Fellows. Our Fellows discussion will be moderated by Austin ARMA Immediate Past President Steven Williams. We hope you can join us in person or virtually for this great session from the experts in our industry. 

Moderator:


Steven Williams is a Manager, Dedicated Professional Staffing for Iron Mountain Incorporated. He is a Certified Information Governance Professional (IGP) through the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) and has master’s in library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Texas at Austin. Steven has spent his 20+-year career in Information Governance (IG), Records and Information Management (RIM), and Management Information Systems both as a Consultant and a Practitioner. He works with some of Iron Mountains most strategic clients to help implement and support their RIM and IG programs.

 Steven is currently the Immediate Past President of Austin ARMA.


Speakers:


Judy Sitton is a Certified Records Manager and Fellow #58 in the ARMA International Company of Fellows.  A recognized leader in the profession, she has been active in ARMA International and ARMA Houston since the beginning of her records career over 40 years ago.

When she isn’t busy being an author, speaker, and strong advocate for the profession, she is focusing on privacy rights and legislation.  Her cutting-edge Information Management Journal piece” When the Right to Know and the Right to Privacy Collide” is used as a foundation document for privacy related publications, research papers, and university class discussions.  

Her most recent ARMA Magazine article “What IG Professionals Should Know about the Internet of Bodies” is currently trending on arma.org and on Linked In through ARMA International. She would love to have a lively discussion with you about biometrics any time. 

Judy is a past board member of the Institute of Certified Records Managers Board of Regents, was an Advisory Board member of the DeVry University Health Information Technology program and served as President of ARMA Houston.  She was inducted in to the ARMA International Company of Fellows in 2017. Judy is also co-author of the ARMA published book Managing Active Business Records.



Sue Trombley, MLIS, FAI, is Managing Director of Thought Leadership at Iron Mountain. Trombley led Iron Mountain’s Information Management Consulting group for 10 years managing a team of subject matter experts and running large engagements.  She now conducts research to share with the Information Management community at large by hosting webinars, blogging, and speaking at association events. She sits on the University of Texas at Austin School of Information Advisory Council, is a past AIIM Board member and is a past ARMA regional advisor and past president of its Boston Chapter.  She is ARMA Fellow #51.



John P. Frost, CRM, FAI is an Information Governance Advisor Lead for Property & Casualty at USAA.  Prior to that, John served as Senior IG Specialist for Box. He has over 30 years of ECM and Governance expertise. He has been a Corporate Records Manager, Technical Governance Consultant, Technical Seller, Worldwide Services Practice Lead, and Vice President of Sales and Operations. He is a Certified Records Manager, a Past President and Fellow of ARMA International. John has led or participated in ECM and IG projects for global corporations, foreign governments, and Fortune 500 companies.



Ryan Zilm has been an active contributor to the Information Management & Technology profession for more than 26 years and currently is employed with Baker Hughes as a Senior Director, overseeing the Records & Information Management Program, based in Houston, Texas. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, has a B.A in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma, has multiple industry related certifications and has participated in developing many foundational resources supporting associated Information-related communities. Ryan has also served as Past President of the ARMA International Board of Directors and was recently inducted into the ARMA Company of Fellows in October 2022.

Lunch will be provided for those that RSVP or you are welcome to bring your own lunch.
