Generative artificial intelligence (GAI) is only a year old. Nevertheless, it has gone mainstream and has become a feature of the legal profession and litigation, both as a source of relevant information or as a claim or defense. This one hour session will provide an overview of GAI from the viewpoint of attorneys and judges who must address its use and alleged misuse.

About the Presenter:

Ronald J. Hedges is the Principal of Ronald J. Hedges LLC. He served as a United States Magistrate Judge in the District of New Jersey for over 20 years. Ron speaks and writes on a variety of topics, many of which are related to electronic information, including information governance, litigation management, and integration of new technologies such as artificial intelligence into existing information governance policies and procedures.
