Networking and learning opportunities for all who work toward effective records and information management.
Austin ARMA is a proud sponsor of the Austin Archives Bazaar.
The Austin Archives Bazaar (http://www.austinarchivesbazaar.org/) is a FREE, fun, and engaging event open to the public and appropriate for all ages. At the heart of the event are tables featuring Austin area archives showing off their amazing collections and services in one space, and promoting the diverse cultural heritage resources available to the public in our region. The Austin Archives Bazaar is organized by the Archivists of Central Texas (ACT), a non-profit (501(c)3) group of local professional archivists.
This is the sixth biennial Austin Archives Bazaar, and they just keep getting better! In April 2022 we had:
· 400+ attendees
· Guest emcee, Chet Garner, host of The Daytripper
· 400 goodie bags filled with koozies, stickers, pins, and literature from repositories and sponsors
· 23 participating repositories
· 11 engaging lightning talks
· 8 fascinating speakers
· 14 fabulous door prizes
· A preservation station

· AND 40 generous sponsors
