Celebrating Your Wins will emphasize that recognizing milestones is crucial for maintaining motivation and achieving greater satisfaction in your journey. Yasmin Turk will outline how taking time to appreciate your progress you set the stage for continued success and fulfillment.

About the Speaker:

Yasmin Turk is a lifelong storyteller and dedicated advocate for healthy communities who leverages her extensive experience in communications, social services, policy, evaluation, writing and academia. Dr. Turk is currently the community engagement consultant for Austin Energy and serves on the board of directors for an organization enhancing birth outcomes for under-resourced women (GALS) and the Asian American Employee Network for City of Austin. Dr. Turk holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Huston-Tillotson University, a Master of Global Policy Studies from the LBJ School of Public Affairs (UT Austin) and a Ph.D. in environmental geography from Texas State University. Alongside her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with family and sports that involve snacks.
